The Shop Slopitch Indoor League Rules:

1. League Format:

  • The league is designed for adult players aged 18 and above.

  • Each team is composed of 3 to 5 players. It is mandatory for each team to have at least one player of the opposite gender.

  • Teams are responsible for providing their own players; no substitutes are allowed.

2. Game Format:

  • Each game is composed of 7 innings.

  • A 30-minute time limit is imposed for each game.

  • All games are played on the HitTrax virtual baseball system, and the outcomes generated by the system determine the plays.

3. Equipment:

  • Only NSA certified bats are allowed for use in the league. Teams must ensure that all bats used adhere to this certification.

4. Playing Area:

  • All games take place within a 70-foot cage.

5. Pitching Machine:

  • The pitching machine is supplied by the opposing team.

  • Both teams must agree on the settings for the pitching machine before the start of each game.

6. Scoring:

  • Only balls placed into play as determined by the virtual system count as plays. The virtual system's decision is final.

7. Team Schedule:

  • Each team plays two games in a single night. Each game consists of 7 innings or concludes when the 30-minute time limit is reached.

  • The league schedule for the entire season is provided to all teams at the outset of the season.

8. Conduct and Sportsmanship:

  • All players and team representatives are expected to exhibit the highest level of sportsmanship and adhere to fair play principles.

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to excessive arguing, verbal abuse, physical altercations, or any behavior deemed detrimental to the league, will not be tolerated.

  • Ejection from the league may result from serious violations of conduct and sportsmanship. Such ejections are at the discretion of league officials.

  • Ejected players or teams will not be eligible to participate in any remaining games of the season, and any league fees paid will not be refunded.

  • Repeated violations of conduct may result in a suspension from participating in future seasons or other league-related activities.

9. Average Joes

  • The league enjoys half price wings at Average Joes after every game.
